These words ring high and true. In the salon industry it is sometimes forgotten that we have the power to make people feel amazing about themselves. We could be talented, know what to say, know all the tricks, but at the end of the day what is most important is the impact we have on everyone. How did you feel? Relaxed, uplifted, confident, satisfied. Growing up in the farming industry, Michelle learned quickly the importance of community and that no one should ever leave feeling short handed. That giving that little extra and making others feel good around you makes more of an impression than anything else. She believes in carrying this through not only to guest that come into the salon but to everyone that works at her salons.
Michelle was mistreated and bullied at other salons early on in her career, to the point where her passion for doing hair began to fade. However instead of giving up, she sought out opportunities and other unique stylists to surround herself with. Creating a new family that spread love and good feelings. Those feelings radiate among everyone working at Hair-do, into their personal lives, and into their clients. It is contagious!
Over the years Hair-do has expanded, with three locations in two states all before Michelle turned 30. Hair-do will continue to grow wherever the future will take them, through different states, with Paul Mitchell, education. The goal is to create an uplifting experience for their clients along with creating independent, self sufficient stylists who are able to live out their goals.
